Hebrews 2:1-3

(1) Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. (2) For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; (3) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

These verses are similar to Proverbs 21:16. The person who is neglecting his salvation is not deliberately setting his mind to turn away from God or His way of life. He is simply, through neglect, allowing himself to drift in that direction. He does not plan to go that way. He gets distracted by things in his life—by hobbies, work, rearing children, and a great many other things. No matter what it is, he allows himself to neglect what has been given to him.

The metaphor used here is of a boat that has slipped its mooring and is drifting within the harbor. Just drifting with the current.

Both of these verses point to a major problem we see in the end-time church of God. We may call it Laodiceanism, and that is a very nice "tag" to put on it. We can comfortably say the word, but are we aware that a Laodicean is a drifter? A Laodicean is somebody who is hanging on to the best of both possible worlds as he sees it. He has one foot in the church and one foot in the world, and he does not realize that he is drifting.

This is the kind of person that God says He finds unpalatable—one He will spit out of His mouth (Revelation 3:16).

Race Matters
It seems evident that the resurrected Noah will head a vast project of the relocation of the races and nations, within the boundaries God has set, for their own best good, happiness and richest blessings. This will be a tremendous operation. It will require great and vast organization, reinforced with power to move whole nations and races. This time, peoples and nations will move where God has planned for them, and no defiance will be tolerated.

Western culture self-destructs

Re: "A Message From Ali Sina":

"If any culture has to be protected it is the Western culture. Yet,
it is this culture alone that today is facing extinction -- because it is being watered down through immigration, multiculturalism and the suicidal disinterest of its members, who are willing to bend backwards to accommodate every inferior culture except protecting their own."

Which is one of the reasons there was apartheid, a system that (all things considered) benefited every color and creed, that came under hypocritical assault by the PC fascists bent on building their Tower of Babel, diluting and polluting our God-given differences.

Funny how you evangelicals, who only appeared on the scene a few decades ago, have all the answers.
Most of you have no formal education in philosohpy or religion, which makes you unqualified to talk about religion, much less preach it.

How haughty and presumptuous! Sounds like something the former Pharisees said about the disciples of Jesus. It also proves the poisonous Catholic failure to appreciate that God makes His Word available for all to read and heed for themselves, as the noble Bereans checked out what Paul said in light of it (Acts 17:11) - they didn't just blindly take his word for it.

John 7
48 Have any of the rulers or the Pharisees believed in Him? 49 But this crowd that does not know the law is accursed.”

Acts 4
5The next day the rulers, elders and teachers of the law met in Jerusalem. 6Annas the high priest was there, and so were Caiaphas, John, Alexander and the other men of the high priest's family. 7They had Peter and John brought before them and began to question them: "By what power or what name did you do this?"

8Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit [his inspiration and instant education, as Yeshua promised], said to them: "Rulers and elders of the people! 9If we are being called to account today for an act of kindness shown to a cripple and are asked how he was healed, 10then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed. 11He is " 'the stone you [educated] builders rejected, which has become the capstone.' 12Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

13When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus [from whom we received our teaching - not Roman wolves in sheep's clothing - ordinary men made extraordinary by the Holy Spirit].

Catholics fear the plain truth of the Bible because it exposes their many errors and proves what a mess they've made of themselves and how they prefer to wallow in the mire of their sins, indulge in their idolatry and engage in pagan abominations, rather than be washed by the waters of the Word and in the blood of the Passover Lamb (not unclean Easter rabbit).

The accursed Roman Catholic Cult is the Babylonian Mystery religion dressed in Christian drag. It promotes its doctrines of demons, it idolatrous traditions, in opposition to the legitimate and Sabbath-keeping Church of God founded on our holy day of Shavuot/Pentecost in Jerusalem.

We follow the same Yeshua as the Jewish Simon Peter did, unlike the unclean Catholic cultists who follow the Samaritan sorcerer, a counterfeit Christ, Simon Magus and later his abominable heir, the pagan Constantine.

A bomb exploded inside Washington, D.C., this week, and, no, it was not the work of a Middle Eastern terrorist. It was the work of former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan. He, perhaps more than anyone else, was the face of President Bush's White House. He faithfully served President George W. Bush for close to a decade and served as Bush's Press Secretary for some three years, resigning on April 19, 2006. He was also regarded as one of the most loyal and tight-lipped of the Bush insiders. However, his new book, "What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington's Culture of Deception" has exploded in the face of what history will probably regard as one of the most deceptive and manipulative Presidential administrations in American government. The Washington Post (and a host of other media) released a report regarding McClellan's book this past Wednesday.

Israeli negotiations with the Vatican over Temple treasures?

Worldwide interest is growing in the holy issue of the Temple treasures and Jewish manuscripts currently held hostage by the Vatican.

Sue Vatican for Temple Treasures

Vatican has no right to retain the Temple treasures now that the Jewish Homeland has been revived, as prophesied (contrary to accursed replacement theology), and it is incumbent upon the Jews to build the Third Temple in which the Temple treasures can serve their God-ordained and consecrated purpose.

Perhaps Israel must enlist the best Jewish lawyers, with the blessings of God, and sue the Vatican if it insists on being proud and stubborn by resisting the Word and Will of God.

"Render to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's." The pope is playing both God and Caesar and needs to be brought down to Earth like Nebuchadnezzar was, and whose history lesson Belshazzar failed to learn from and lost his kingdom as a consequence. Is Rome's destruction imminent?

The Temple treasures are not the rightful property of the Vatican. For the Vatican to cruelly keep the Temple treasures held hostage in Rome, isn't too Christian. They must be returned to where they belong: Jerusalem.

Prof. Eugene Narrett

There are many ways to convey a message and lawyers are not necessarily the sole avenue.
Rome used deadly force to steal and destroy here and we do not advocate that unless of course anyone intends to do that to our people again. That is in relation with foreign murderers. Our own crop is a completely different kettle of fish.
Negotiations with the Vatican is the best way.
The Vatican can be given options they will appreciate to have I am sure.
One of them is of course they keeping Vatican icons in Eretz Israel... if they return to us what they have usurped from our property.
That does not mean necessarily denying access to Christian Pilgrims until such time when what the Vatican holds of ours is returned to us, but rather assuming control over said locations for the duration of the negotiations.
Our problem is not with our Christian friends and co travelers but with the Vatican itself.
That of course requires real JEWISH leadership, not the trash up there now.

Spy Culture (Deutsche Telekom affair)

Newsletter 2008/05/27 - Spy Culture
BONN (Own report) - Within a few weeks, another German company
expanding abroad, the Deutsche Telekom, has been accused of engaging
in illegal spying practices. This enterprise, in which the state is
still a shareholder, has been spying on its own personnel as well as
journalists and even possibly placed foreign shareholders "under
surveillance," according to press accounts. The Telekom accessed
telecommunications data for which even police investigators would have
needed a court order. Recently the discount food chain Lidl, was
criticized for its wide-scale spying on its personnel. It was made
public that the Siemens Corp. in Munich is aiding German intelligence
agencies in wiretapping actions against its clients. The various spy
scandals extend beyond domestic significance, because these companies
are accelerating their foreign expansion, thereby becoming more
influential in applying these methods. Siemens has subsidiaries in 190
countries around the world, Lidl has twice as many stores abroad as it
has inside Germany. The Telekom, which is cooperating in a "security
partnership" with German government repressive agencies, is targeting
new acquisitions and seeking to become the world market leader in

Senator McCain shows how shallow his religious beliefs are and how weak he is in standing up to criticism about religious leaders who endorsed him without agreeing with every single thing he represents. They should support Ron Paul or Chuck Baldwin.

As far as Rod Parsley's salvo about marriage being under attack by "tortured and angry homosexuals," that's true to an extent. However, the greatest danger, what weakens the institution of marriage the most, are faithless and fickle heterosexuals who fail to keep their vows or remember why they took them in the first place.

Herbert W. Armstrong

As Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall testifies:

Herbert W. Armstrong was a God-send to restore long lost truths; stood against traditional Christianity's error and taught the plain truth of the Bible; restored our Hebrew roots; warned world leaders about a German-dominated European Union and offered the hope and comfort of Christ's return to save us from its nuclear holocaust; he brought God's Church back on track, and he died, full of faith and wisdom, leaving a lasting impression on those who continue the quest for God's Kingdom.

This world says the cause of racial problems is segregation, when in fact the opposite is the case.

Mr. Armstrong was ahead of his time. The principles of prophecy he spoke of remain absolutely true: a final revival of the unholy Roman Empire is prophesied and the EU is forging ahead with that Frankenstein Monster now.

The Plain Truth About Herbert W. Armstrong and the Worldwide Church of God
Herbert W. Armstrong was courageously teaching the plain truth around the world, announcing the good news of the Wonderful World Tomorrow, the Kingdom of God that will soon be established with the return and reign of Christ.

Was Herbert W. Armstrong Elijah?
Was Herbert W. Armstrong the prophesied individual to come in the power and spirit of Elijah, as taught by the former Worldwide Church of God and still believed by many of the branches of the Sabbath-keeping Church of God?

Herbert W. Armstrong and the Worldwide Church of God Mentioned in Israeli Newspaper
One of the Worldwide Church of God beliefs is that there will be a politico-military mess that will take place by next year. In their opinion, Germany, and maybe even Italy, will attempt to conquer the world. That attempt will ignite a world war that will take two thirds of the world's population, but that afterwards there will begin a true peace for planet Earth. The members of the Worldwide Church of God will be among those that survive and they believe that eventually their beliefs will be accepted by all the Earth.

One day in the House of Representatives a bill was taken up appropriating money for the benefit of a widow of a distinguished naval officer. Several beautiful speeches had been made in its support. The speaker was just about to put the question when Crockett arose:

"Mr. Speaker--I have as much respect for the memory of the deceased, and as much sympathy for the suffering of the living, if there be, as any man in this House, but we must not permit our respect for the dead or our sympathy for part of the living to lead us into an act of injustice to the balance of the living. I will not go into an argument to prove that Congress has not the power to appropriate this money as an act of charity. Every member on this floor knows it.

We have the right as individuals, to give away as much of our own money as we please in charity; but as members of Congress we have no right to appropriate a dollar of the public money. Some eloquent appeals have been made to us upon the ground that it is a debt due the deceased. Mr. Speaker, the deceased lived long after the close of the war; he was in office to the day of his death, and I ever heard that the government was in arrears to him.

Originally published in "The Life of Colonel David Crockett," by Edward Sylvester Ellis.

"Every man in this House knows it is not a debt. We cannot without the grossest corruption, appropriate this money as the payment of a debt. We have not the semblance of authority to appropriate it as charity. Mr. Speaker, I have said we have the right to give as much money of our own as we please. I am the poorest man on this floor. I cannot vote for this bill, but I will give one week's pay to the object, and if every member of Congress will do the same, it will amount to more than the bill asks."

He took his seat. Nobody replied. The bill was put upon its passage, and, instead of passing unanimously, as was generally supposed, and as, no doubt, it would, but for that speech, it received but few votes, and, of course, was lost.

Later, when asked by a friend why he had opposed the appropriation, Crockett gave this explanation:

"Several years ago I was one evening standing on the steps of the Capitol with some members of Congress, when our attention was attracted by a great light over in Georgetown. It was evidently a large fire. We jumped into a hack and drove over as fast as we could. In spite of all that could be done, many houses were burned and many families made houseless, and besides, some of them had lost all but the clothes they had on. The weather was very cold, and when I saw so many children suffering, I felt that something ought to be done for them. The next morning a bill was introduced appropriating $20,000 for their relief. We put aside all other business and rushed it through as soon as it could be done.

"The next summer, when it began to be time to think about election, I concluded I would take a scout around among the boys of my district. I had no opposition there but, as the election was some time off, I did not know what might turn up. When riding one day in a part of my district in which I was more of a stranger than any other, I saw a man in a field plowing and coming toward the road. I gauged my gait so that we should meet as he came up, I spoke to the man. He replied politely, but as I thought, rather coldly.

"I began: 'Well friend, I am one of those unfortunate beings called candidates and---

"Yes I know you; you are Colonel Crockett. I have seen you once before, and voted for you the last time you were elected. I suppose you are out electioneering now, but you had better not waste your time or mine, I shall not vote for you again."

"This was a sockdolger...I begged him tell me what was the matter.

"Well Colonel, it is hardly worthwhile to waste time or words upon it. I do not see how it can be mended, but you gave a vote last winter which shows that either you have not capacity to understand the Constitution, or that you are wanting in the honesty and firmness to be guided by it. In either case you are not the man to represent me. But I beg your pardon for expressing it that way. I did not intend to avail myself of the privilege of the constituent to speak plainly to a candidate for the purpose of insulting you or wounding you.'

"I intend by it only to say that your understanding of the constitution is very different from mine; and I will say to you what but for my rudeness, I should not have said, that I believe you to be honest.

But an understanding of the constitution different from mine I cannot overlook, because the Constitution, to be worth anything, must be held sacred, and rigidly observed in all its provisions. The man who wields power and misinterprets it is the more dangerous the honest he is.'

" 'I admit the truth of all you say, but there must be some mistake. Though I live in the backwoods and seldom go from home, I take the papers from Washington and read very carefully all the proceedings of Congress. My papers say you voted for a bill to appropriate $20,000 to some sufferers by fire in Georgetown. Is that true?

"Well my friend; I may as well own up. You have got me there. But certainly nobody will complain that a great and rich country like ours should give the insignificant sum of $20,000 to relieve its suffering women and children, particularly with a full and overflowing treasury, and I am sure, if you had been there, you would have done just the same as I did.'

"It is not the amount, Colonel, that I complain of; it is the principle. In the first place, the government ought to have in the Treasury no more than enough for its legitimate purposes. But that has nothing with the question. The power of collecting and disbursing money at pleasure is the most dangerous power that can be entrusted to man, particularly under our system of collecting revenue by a tariff, which reaches every man in the country, no matter how poor he may be, and the poorer he is the more he pays in proportion to his means.

What is worse, it presses upon him without his knowledge where the weight centers, for there is not a man in the United States who can ever guess how much he pays to the government. So you see, that while you are contributing to relieve one, you are drawing it from thousands who are even worse off than he.

If you had the right to give anything, the amount was simply a matter of discretion with you, and you had as much right to give $20,000,000 as $20,000. If you have the right to give at all; and as the Constitution neither defines charity nor stipulates the amount, you are at liberty to give to any and everything which you may believe, or profess to believe, is a charity and to any amount you may think proper. You will very easily perceive what a wide door this would open for fraud and corruption and favoritism, on the one hand, and for robbing the people on the other. 'No, Colonel, Congress has no right to give charity.'

"'Individual members may give as much of their own money as they please, but they have no right to touch a dollar of the public money for that purpose. If twice as many houses had been burned in this country as in Georgetown, neither you nor any other member of Congress would have Thought of appropriating a dollar for our relief. There are about two hundred and forty members of Congress. If they had shown their sympathy for the sufferers by contributing each one week's pay, it would have made over $13,000. There are plenty of wealthy men around Washington who could have given $20,000 without depriving themselves of even a luxury of life.'

"The congressmen chose to keep their own money, which, if reports be true, some of them spend not very creditably; and the people about Washington, no doubt, applauded you for relieving them from necessity of giving what was not yours to give. The people have delegated to Congress, by the Constitution, the power to do certain things. To do these, it is authorized to collect and pay moneys, and for nothing else. Everything beyond this is usurpation, and a violation of the Constitution.'

"'So you see, Colonel, you have violated the Constitution in what I consider a vital point. It is a precedent fraught with danger to the country, for when Congress once begins to stretch its power beyond the limits of the Constitution, there is no limit to it, and no security for the people. I have no doubt you acted honestly, but that does not make it any better, except as far as you are personally concerned, and you see that I cannot vote for you.'

"I tell you I felt streaked. I saw if I should have opposition, and this man should go to talking and in that district I was a gone fawn-skin. I could not answer him, and the fact is, I was so fully convinced that he was right, I did not want to. But I must satisfy him, and I said to him:

"Well, my friend, you hit the nail upon the head when you said I had not sense enough to understand the Constitution. I intended to be guided by it, and thought I had studied it fully. I have heard many speeches in Congress about the powers of Congress, but what you have said here at your plow has got more hard, sound sense in it than all the fine speeches I ever heard. If I had ever taken the view of it that you have, I would have put my head into the fire before I would have given that vote; and if you will forgive me and vote for me again, if I ever vote for another unconstitutional law I wish I may be shot.'

"He laughingly replied; 'Yes, Colonel, you have sworn to that once before, but I will trust you again upon one condition. You are convinced that your vote was wrong. Your acknowledgment of it will do more good than beating you for it. If, as you go around the district, you will tell people about this vote, and that you are satisfied it was wrong, I will not only vote for you, but will do what I can to keep down opposition, and perhaps, I may exert some little influence in that way.'

"If I don't, said I, 'I wish I may be shot; and to convince you that I am in earnest in what I say I will come back this way in a week or ten days, and if you will get up a gathering of people, I will make a speech to them. Get up a barbecue, and I will pay for it.'

"No, Colonel, we are not rich people in this section but we have plenty of provisions to contribute for a barbecue, and some to spare for those who have none. The push of crops will be over in a few days, and we can then afford a day for a barbecue. 'This Thursday; I will see to getting it up on Saturday week. Come to my house on Friday, and we will go together, and I promise you a very respectable crowd to see and hear you.

"'Well I will be here. But one thing more before I say good-bye. I must know your name."

"'My name is Bunce.'

"'Not Horatio Bunce?'

"'Well, Mr. Bunce, I never saw you before, though you say you have seen me, but I know you very well. I am glad I have met you, and very proud that I may hope to have you for my friend.'

"It was one of the luckiest hits of my life that I met him. He mingled but little with the public, but was widely known for his remarkable intelligence, and for a heart brim-full and running over with kindness and benevolence, which showed themselves not only in words but in acts. He was the oracle of the whole country around him, and his fame had extended far beyond the circle of his immediate acquaintance. Though I had never met him, before, I had heard much of him, and but for this meeting it is very likely I should have had opposition, and had been beaten. One thing is very certain, no man could now stand up in that district under such a vote.

"At the appointed time I was at his house, having told our conversation to every crowd I had met, and to every man I stayed all night with, and I found that it gave the people an interest and confidence in me stronger than I had ever seen manifested before.

"Though I was considerably fatigued when I reached his house, and, under ordinary circumstances, should have gone early to bed, I kept him up until midnight talking about the principles and affairs of government, and got more real, true knowledge of them than I had got all my life before."

"I have known and seen much of him since, for I respect him - no, that is not the word - I reverence and love him more than any living man, and I go to see him two or three times every year; and I will tell you, sir, if every one who professes to be a Christian lived and acted and enjoyed it as he does, the religion of Christ would take the world by storm.

"But to return to my story. The next morning we went to the barbecue and, to my surprise, found about a thousand men there. I met a good many whom I had not known before, and they and my friend introduced me around until I had got pretty well acquainted - at least, they all knew me.

"In due time notice was given that I would speak to them. They gathered up around a stand that had been erected. I opened my speech by saying:

"Fellow-citizens - I present myself before you today feeling like a new man. My eyes have lately been opened to truths which ignorance or prejudice or both, had heretofore hidden from my view. I feel that I can today offer you the ability to render you more valuable service than I have ever been able to render before. I am here today more for the purpose of acknowledging my error than to seek your votes. That I should make this acknowledgment is due to myself as well as to you. Whether you will vote for me is a matter for your consideration only."

"I went on to tell them about the fire and my vote for the appropriation and then told them why I was satisfied it was wrong. I closed by saying:

"And now, fellow-citizens, it remains only for me to tell you that the most of the speech you have listened to with so much interest was simply a repetition of the arguments by which your neighbor, Mr. Bunce, convinced me of my error.

"It is the best speech I ever made in my life, but he is entitled to the credit for it. And now I hope he is satisfied with his convert and that he will get up here and tell you so.'

"He came up to the stand and said:

"Fellow-citizens - it affords me great pleasure to comply with the request of Colonel Crockett. I have always considered him a thoroughly honest man, and I am satisfied that he will faithfully perform all that he has promised you today.'

"He went down, and there went up from that crowd such a shout for Davy Crockett as his name never called forth before.'

"I am not much given to tears, but I was taken with a choking then and felt some big drops rolling down my cheeks. And I tell you now that the remembrance of those few words spoken by such a man, and the honest, hearty shout they produced, is worth more to me than all the honors I have received and all the reputation I have ever made, or ever shall make, as a member of Congress.'

"Now, sir," concluded Crockett, "you know why I made that speech yesterday. "There is one thing which I will call your attention, "you remember that I proposed to give a week's pay. There are in that House many very wealthy men - men who think nothing of spending a week's pay, or a dozen of them, for a dinner or a wine party when they have something to accomplish by it. Some of those same men made beautiful speeches upon the great debt of gratitude which the country owed the deceased--a debt which could not be paid by money--and the insignificance and worthlessness of money, particularly so insignificant a sum as $20,000 when weighed against the honor of the nation. Yet not one of them responded to my proposition. Money with them is nothing but trash when it is to come out of the people. But it is the one great thing for which most of them are striving, and many of them sacrifice honor, integrity, and justice to obtain it."

Bush White House First ‘Catholic’ Presidency?

It's increasingly known how outspoken I am against the baptized paganism of counterfeit Christianity, of the Babylonian Mystery religion dressed in Christian drag, yet some Protestants understand better than others how horribly rotten and evil the Roman Catholic Cult is and don't hesitate to say so. Jack Chick is one of these individuals. That's good! I simply wonder how such Protestants can see certain things so clearly, and yet fail to recognize that their Sunday for Sabbath, and pagan holidays for God's holy days, and other unclean doctrines are still hangovers from the Babylonian brew the Roman Catholic Cult concocts. We must forsake Babylon all the way, and return to the faith once delivered to Jerusalem - not have one foot in both worlds, rejected by both.

Bush White House First ‘Catholic’ Presidency?

Issue Date: May/June 2008

How sad that the “born-again” leader of the free world should give a royal welcome to the leader of a religion which holds one billion people in spiritual bondage.

A flurry of publicity during the pope’s visit this year attempted to position the George Bush White House as “the first truly [Roman] Catholic presidency.”

Evidence presented cited the two new U.S. Supreme Court justices, John Roberts and Samuel Alito appointed by Bush bringing to five the number of Roman Catholics on the bench.

We are told that he is also surrounded with RC advisors, cabinet members and speechwriters. His royal welcome for Pope Benedict further reinforces the idea that the president has introduced a new era of Vatican influence.

There is no doubt that the pope stands for some good things. Catholic activists have been helpful in focusing our attention on the evils of abortion and homosexuality. However, sugar-coated poison is still poison. Satan’s lies are always mixed with an element of truth.

The history of nations that have embraced Vatican teachings is not pretty. In the Latin American countries, Catholic idolatrous rituals have bred poverty, corruption and political turmoil while the U.S. prospered under the widespread preaching of biblical righteousness.

Both began as virgin territories with rich resources of forests, minerals and oil but religious freedom in one and spiritual bondage in the other achieved very different results. There would be no immigration woes today had righteousness reigned on both continents. Truly, “Righteousness exalteth a nation but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).

For a thousand years, known as the “dark ages,” the Vatican held the Western World in spiritual darkness. Ignorance and superstition gripped the people. Corrupt popes terrorized kings and plowmen alike. Any who objected had to flee to the caves to avoid being burned as heretics.

Rome’s bonds were broken when God released the printing press technology so the Bible could be published for the common man. Satan had to come up with a new strategy for his prostitute “church.” Ecumenism was born. The lie that all religions essentially worship the same god began to spread. The Vatican held an “Ecumenical Council” known as “Vatican II.” Plans were drafted to bring together the Protestants, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, etc. to pray together for world “peace and justice.”

On the political front, the Jesuits have worked for centuries to infiltrate high levels of government to control the levers of power from behind the scenes. Their machinations have gotten them thrown out of several dozen countries in the past. The new strategy fit their method of operation well.

We see it in operation now with the infiltration around President Bush. He does not go along with all their agenda, but in many ways he is duped. In a recent speech he repeated the pope’s position on Islam, that Muslims and Christians both worship the same God. In an interview with ETWN, the reporter asked what he saw when he looked into the eyes of Pope Benedict. “God,” President Bush replied.

It is also significant that Benedict chose to speak to the UN while in the U.S. His ecumenical vision includes more than the spiritual. He spoke of the “international community” as a family that needed to work together for the good of each member. But we know from the Bible that any attempt by man to create an “international community” will only result in the introduction of the anti-Christ. Had any of the Fathers of the Reformation been asked what they saw in the eyes of the pope, they would no doubt have said “Anti-Christ!”

Evil will continue to rise in the world until the nations will, in desperation, welcome a world leader who will promise a solution. But that solution will turn out to be world slavery to an even greater evil.

We must pray for our leaders that we may continue to have the peace and freedom to share the gospel. But the Bible assures us that persecution will come and that we need to work “while it is day.”

The Bible is the Word of God

DBA- Without the Word of God, the Holy Bible to base every belief upon, you're a spiritual anarchist who is bent on self-destruction.
Your own idolatrous ideas cannot save you, and you have no authority or right to determine what is good and what is evil.

Other books say something else. Your book says those books are false. Those books say your book is false.

I know many of the other books and have burnt them, being saved out of their falsehoods, now knowing only the Bible is the Word of God, the divine revelation of our Great Creator God, the God of Israel. If you don't know that, you're still wandering in your wilderness.

A Higher Calling: Quest for the Kingdom of God

Herbert W. Armstrong and the Worldwide Church of God Mentioned in Israeli Newspaper

I don't worship a book.

I don't know anybody who does, but I do know that we are to have a proper love and respect for the Holy Bible, the divine revelation, that God has graciously given us and not take it lightly or treat it disrespectfully, dishonoring our Father.

The Oracles of God

I worship a living God, who speaks to me personally.

If you reject the Bible as the Word of our Great Creator God - who has given us His living Word - you're not worshiping the true God, but are either being conned by demons who can appear as angels of light or are merely letting your deceitful heart mislead you, or a combination of the two. God knows.

Those who recognize and submit Father knows best and the Bible is His Word, let it speak to their hearts and minds, as God intends, inspired by His Holy Spirit that brings it to our attention whether in actual word or biblical principle.

When people say that their religion is better than someone else's religion, it sounds like childish schoolyard bragging. If a religion is so true, then it it is not necessary to preach it. Its truth would outshine all the rest.

At least according to your self-righteous preaching and self-righteous standards, all based upon your idolatrous ideas - nothing concrete or authoritative, unlike the Bible.

Yeshua said the Jews know who they worship and that the Gentiles don't know God. The Prophets basically said the same, as well as the apostles. Pitiful you think you know more than them.

They were merely stating facts, not bragging. There is no room for bragging because everything that's true we have, we have received in varying degrees, and we're to continue to live and learn, so help us God. That's part of what the conversion process is all about: learning to THINK LIKE GOD to increasingly LIVE LIKE GOD and at the resurrection, when we're truly born again, we're transformed and become God - a literal member of the Kingdom-Family of God-Beings - just like the Bible teaches!

Isaiah 55:7-9
7 Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.
8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD.
9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts.

The Lost Sheep of Israel

May 23, 2008 | From
Are the Jews the only remaining survivors from the original 12 tribes of Israel?

Like numerous other columnists over the past month, Charles Krauthammer commemorated Israel’s 60th birthday by referring to its establishment as a “miraculous story of redemption and return.” But unlike every other article we have read on the same subject, Krauthammer correctly identifies the two tribes of Israel that returned to establish the Jewish state 60 years ago—Judah and Benjamin.

To introduce his piece, Krauthammer writes about a meeting between Meriwether Lewis and Dr. Benjamin Rush that took place shortly before Thomas Jefferson sent Lewis off on his famous expedition out west. Rush wanted Lewis to observe the religious practices of the Indians to see if there were any similarities with the Jewish religion. “Jefferson and Lewis,” Krauthammer wrote, “like many of their day and ours, were fascinated by the Ten Lost Tribes of Israel, and thought they might be out there on the Great Plains.”

He’s right. A quick search through the New York Times archives reveals how much speculation there was during the 1800s about where the lost tribes migrated after their Assyrian captivity in the 8th century b.c. One headline from 1885 reads: “Afghans and Their Home—Are They Descendents of Israel’s Lost Tribes?” The Times wrote, “A very ingenious attempt to connect the Afghans with the 10 lost tribes of Israel was made by Sir G.H. Rose, in a pamphlet issued 30 odd years ago. The Old Testament was abundantly drawn upon to show that the tribes disappeared toward the east …” (April 19, 1885).

During the same time period, when several articles were written about the whereabouts of the lost 10 tribes, the New York Times also printed numerous articles in favor of the establishment of a Jewish state in Palestine. Clearly, more people back then understood that the lost 10 tribes were not Jewish.

Today, most people carelessly assume that all Israelites are Jews. So kudos to Charles Krauthammer for pointing out that the people identified as Jews today come from only two of the original 12 tribes. The only problem with his interpretation of Israel’s history is his explanation of where the lost 10 tribes went. He wrote, “Their disappearance into the mists of history since their exile from Israel in 722 b.c. is no mystery. It is the norm, the rule for every ancient people defeated, destroyed, scattered and exiled.”

The Jewish nation, he says, is the one exception. They, like the brothers from the northern 10 tribes, were defeated, removed from their homeland and “destroyed” by the Babylonians in the sixth century b.c. Yet, 70 years after their destruction, Cyrus the Great allowed about approximately 50,000 Jews to return to Jerusalem in order to rebuild Solomon’s Temple. Five centuries later, the Romans again besieged and destroyed the Jewish vassal state. According to first-century Jewish historian Josephus, Caesar instructed his general to utterly destroy Jerusalem, leaving it without inhabitant.

Yet, through two captivities, enslavements and scatterings—and despite being homeless for two millennia—the tribes of Benjamin and Judah had multiplied to about 18 million at the dawn of our modern era. Even after Adolf Hitler exterminated one third of the world’s Jewish population—in one of the worst crimes ever committed against a people in the history of human civilization—survivors of the Holocaust, backed by the United States and Britain, established the state of Israel in 1948.

Today, 60 years later, Israel is the most prosperous and powerful nation in the Middle East. That is a remarkable story of survival—no doubt about it.

What would be much more remarkable though—far-fetched, in fact—is if the other 10 tribes were systematically destroyed 2,700 years ago, resulting in their complete disappearance from the Earth.

Comparing the Numbers

When King David asked for his armies to be counted, he was told that there were 1.1 million Israelite men who were capable of bearing arms, compared to 470,000 in Judah. Counting women and children, one could conservatively estimate the total population to be around 3 million Israelites and 1.5 million Jews.

Ten generations after David’s reign, just before the northern 10 tribes went into captivity, one could safely assume that their population had grown and that Israel was still much larger than the southern nation of Judah.

With that in mind, isn’t it illogical to assume that the northern 10 tribes were destroyed or disappeared, while the much smaller nation of Judah survived three different captivities and mass exterminations to establish a Jewish state 60 years ago?

The Bible says that the Assyrians “removed Israel” out of God’s sight and carried them “away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day” (2 Kings 17:23). That biblical passage was recorded approximately 100 years after the Israelites were removed. There were still survivors, the author tells us—perhaps millions of them—dwelling in Assyria.

Where Did the Apostles Go?

Six hundred and fifty years after the author of Kings said Israelites had been uprooted from Israel and transplanted into Assyria, Jesus encountered a Canaanite woman on the coast of the Mediterranean who asked Him to have mercy on her possessed daughter, to which Christ responded, “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 15:24). What an incredibly revealing response! The Israelites had become lost from world view during their captivity, largely because they rejected their identifying sign of Sabbath-keeping. They did not disappear. Neither were they destroyed, as Jesus plainly confirmed. Furthermore, Jesus actually said that His ministry was primarily aimed at those lost sheep!

Of course, that brief ministry was cut short when He was crucified to pay for the sins of mankind. Prior to His crucifixion, however, Jesus commissioned His 12 disciples to deliver the gospel to those same “lost” tribes of Israel. “Go not into the way of the Gentiles,” Christ told them, “but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matthew 10:5-6). It was through the work of His faithful disciples that Jesus Christ’s God-given mission to reach the “lost sheep” of Israel was primarily fulfilled!

Have you ever wondered why, after Acts 11, most of the first-century Church history is about the Apostle Paul’s ministry to the Gentile peoples on the eastern and northern shores of the Mediterranean? Does it seem strange that most of the New Testament is composed of letters written by Paul, who was commissioned to reach the Gentiles?

What happened to the original 12 apostles? Where did they go? They went exactly where Christ told them to go—far beyond Paul’s territory, following the migration of the Assyrians and their Israelite captives, into northwestern Europe, where the Israelites had been lost from world view!

Krauthammer is right when he says that many, even to this day, are still fascinated with the subject of ancient Israel’s modern identity. What he didn’t say is that most of this fascination can be attributed to a book written by Herbert W. Armstrong—The United States and Britain in Prophecy—requested by more than 6 million people during the 20th century!

Some precious positive feedback

We found your website and the online book in 2005 and have read it several times as did Mum before she fell asleep. Mum really found comfort in your 'directness' approach and we would often have a laugh at some of your expressions... We truly believe that God started sending us an upload of information from the year 2005 for some reason and indeed we have so much that we can't keep up. However, isn't this also foretold in the Bible that those who have will receive more?

I am glad I ran across your blog because it gave me hope that is visible to see that there are others out there like you who believe in Gods message brought to us through Mr. Armstrong.... May God bless you abundantly and keep you safe.

After reading some of your materials I could see that you have roots in WCG under Mr. HWA.

Please continue your work of spreading the True Gospel, this is a world in dire need of it before soon to come Tribulation! ...So many of us will have to suffer and be martyrs because of this counterfeit gospel being spewed so widely. It is saddening really… Pray for those who are “Luke Warm” and those like myself. Also, please pray that we are protected or in the very least, become one of those that come out of the Tribulation repentant and protected from the last plagues just before the Day of the Lord as foretold by John in the book of Revelation.

We can’t allow events in the Middle East to distract us from what’s unfolding in Europe.
Events in the Middle East dominate global headlines. There is no doubt these events threaten global peace and warrant our attention. But we must realize that there is an even greater trend we should be watching. In many ways, the Middle East is a sideshow compared to this ominous threat...

Jude Speaks To Us Today

Greeting to the Called
1 Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James,

To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ:

2 Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.
Contend for the Faith

3 Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Old and New Apostates

5 But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
8 Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” 10 But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.
Apostates Depraved and Doomed

12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; 13 raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
Apostates Predicted

16 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.
Maintain Your Life with God

20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21 keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
22 And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
Glory to God
24 Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
25 To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
