Saw your post in Gogle Blogsearch and came to read.

>"as the noble Bereans checked out what Paul said in light of it (Acts 17:11) "

The Bereans used the Old Testament alone to prove Christian doctrine. Can you, like the Bereans, use only the OT to prove all your doctrines? Catholics can.

>"Catholics fear the plain truth of the Bible ..."

That explains why only Catholics handcopied the Bible to preserve the Bible through the centuries. That also explains why a Catholic named Gutenburg invented the moveable type printing press and began cranking out Bibles. Those Catholics feared the plain truth. Not.

>"washed by the waters of the Word"

I don't believe this phrase is ever found in the Bible. Reference?

The Bible does refer to being washed in the waters of "baptism which now saves you." (1 Peter 3:21)

>"The accursed Roman Catholic Cult is the Babylonian Mystery religion dressed in Christian drag."

You weren't born with that belief, so who dripped Satan's poison into your ears and why?

>"Thankfully, Rome will soon be history and the RCC utterly destroyed."

Interesting theory. You are aware that the Catholic Church is continuing to expand by 18 million each and every year and that non-Catholic Christian sects like yours are withering?

Also, Catholics do read the Bible and note that Christ promised that the gates of hell would not prevail against His one Catholic Church. (Matthew 16:18-20) The Catholic Church has stood for 2,000 years and against stronger opposition than yours.

BTW, you'll find the words "ekklesia kath olos" (Catholic Church) in any Greek version of Acts 9:31. So, if the Catholic Church is the abomination you claim, then why does Acts 9:31 say in the original Greek that the Catholic Church "was strengthened; and encouraged by the Holy Spirit, it grew in numbers, living in the fear of the Lord"? Also, why does your Bible translate "ekklesia" (church), but omit translating "kath olos"?

God bless...

+TimothyTimothyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06992217665437521336noreply@blogger.com
